What is “Back to Church” Sunday?

“Back to Church Sunday” is just what it sounds like, an opportunity to get back to church. With the pandemic, summer break, and life, some have got out of the habit of attending church. Others have never attended church. And some may be looking for a church home.

At Lighthouse, we want you to know that you are welcome here.

What will be happening on that day?

We think that anytime we can get together is a great time. However, on September 18, we have a few extra items.

Worship will begin at 11 a.m.

Church Cookout to follow.

Kona Ice will be there with a sweet treat.

Please keep the following in your prayers:

• Pray for those who will hear the Gospel, believe, and confess Christ as Savior.
• Pray for those returning to church for the first time in a long time. Pray for their comfort and longing to return to the assembled church body.
• Pray that each invitation would be considered by the person/family as an opportunity to return to church.
• Pray for strength and encouragement for each person that gives an invitation.
• Pray for Lighthouse that we would use the opportunity of Back to Church Sunday to welcome the community.
